HTC

HTC, or the High-Tech Computer Corporation, to use their full name, are a relatively newcomer to the cell phone scene, having produced their first Pocket PC phone, the Wallaby in early 2002.

However, just recently they have been making waves with some very desirable models, not least of which is the HTC Touch Diamond, clearly aimed at taking a piece of the market from the Apple iPhone among style-conscious customers.

Their latest coup, though, has been to produce the first phone based on Google’s new Android mobile operating system. Called the HTC Dream, it will initially be locked to the T-Mobile network but.. you guessed it, it’s available here, together with other HTC phones, new and unlocked!
